Health care workers are at high risk of contracting COVID-19. We estimated that SARS-Cov-2 would contaminate 25 % of our workforce during the outbreak. The face shield represents essential equipment\u00a0to protect our health care team.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately,\u00a0we have a shortage of face shield due to the high demand for this equipment\u00a0during the COVID-19 Outbreak.<\/p>\n

To solve this problem, we developed the 2 Simple face shield<\/p>\n

They are made of 0,5mm PETG sheet cut by CO2 laser<\/p>\n

1- Closed in the upper\u00a0part, avoiding the entrance of liquid or aerosol. The healthcare worker can dismiss wearing glasses to protect the eyes<\/div>\n
2- They protect the lateral part of the head and the anterior area of the neck.<\/div>\n
3- The lateral part\u00a0is distant from the temporal region, giving more comfort, especially when the user wears glasses.<\/div>\n
4- They are easy to assemble, just 6<\/g> connections.<\/div>\n
5- New way to connect the head strip to the frontal shield, resulting in less material to produce the face shield and more stability.<\/div>\n
6-\u00a0small volume for transportation, as it goes in flat sheet format<\/div>\n

  • Disposable surface cleaning cloth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Procedure description<\/b><\/p>\n

    Attention<\/b>: The professional must\u00a0be dressed appropriately\u00a0with PPE’s to avoid contac<\/span>t and\u00a0droplet directive to his skin or mucosa. He must<\/span>\u00a0wash his hand at the beginning and the end of the cleaning procedure ;<\/p>\n

    • Start performing a visual inspection to detect any dirty;<\/li>\n
    • Rinse thoroughly with soap and water;<\/li>\n
    • Dry with a dry cloth;<\/li>\n
    • Moisten the cleaning cloth with 70 \u00b0 alcohol and \/ or Optigerm;<\/li>\n
    • Pass the damp cloth on the internal and external parts;<\/li>\n
    • Put in a dry place as a shelf to dry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • Realizar inspe\u00e7\u00e3o visual para detectar \u00a0<\/span>qualquer res\u00edduo;<\/li>\n
        • Enxaguar abundante com agua e sab\u00e3o;<\/li>\n
        • Secar com pano seco;<\/li>\n
        • Umedecer o pano de limpeza com o \u00e1lcool 70\u00b0e\/ou Optigerm;<\/li>\n
        • Passar o pano umedecido nas partes internas e externas;<\/li>\n
        • Recolocar em local seco como prateleira para secar.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
